We believe that baptism is an outward expression of an inward transformation. Because Scripture presents baptism as a response to personal faith in Jesus Christ, we practice believer's baptism (credobaptism). Baptism does not save a person, but serves as a public declaration of faith and identification with Christ's death, burial, and resurrection. We encourage all followers of Jesus who have placed their trust in Him to be baptized as an act of obedience and a testimony to God's saving work in their lives.
